Restoration

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people.

For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

“Come, let us return to the LORD; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up."

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

The God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD.
