Loving God,
Teach us how to love in a world which
teaches hatred, conflict and division.
Loving another is the most difficult and
at the same time, the easiest thing.
Love is a habit, a practice,
an effort and even a repeated ritual.
Jesus, you loved your enemies
even though they plotted against you.
We have no idea how to do what you did
but we would like to struggle,
learn and do just that.
Holy Spirit, fill us with the feelings of love
so that love will flow naturally and intrinsically.
