God, help us to understand the needs of children and at the same time, be credible models for them. Instead of always advising those younger than us, show us how we can be good models to them.
Strengthen us to be a flame of an individual candle which can share the flame with other candles and lamps.
May the need for being a good model not pressurise us but remind us to observe self-discipline not just for our sake but for the sake of others too.
Blessed Trinity, may your ideal model be the model for us to be.
